Andro400 Review (User Results & Side Effects)

Andro400 is a natural testosterone boosting supplement that is fairly popular, claiming to help increase your energy levels, increase libido and sex drive, in addition to reducing belly fat and helping address overall symptoms of low testosterone.

What makes this Andro400 Review unique is the fact that there are actually two varieties; the original and a version marketed as MAX. This made me interested in it so I decided to put it to the test. Will it hold up to its claims when put to the challenge by scientific scrutiny?

Let’s check it out and see how it fares.

Who Is Andro400 For?

If you are a man over the age of 30, your natural testosterone production starts to diminish. As this occurs, it is common to see the appearance of an increasing waistline, diminished sex drive, and constant fatigue. This is when you may attempt to consume Andro400, which claims to remedy these symptoms.

While the Andro400 website claims that young men can benefit from consumption of the supplement as well, if you are experiencing symptoms associated with low testosterone in your twenties or before, you should consult a physician first. It is not normal, and not advised to mask symptoms with a supplement.

Before settling on a good testosterone booster, one of the most important things you can do is to analyze the ingredient list and see if they are in line with what you are expecting to see. In addition to this, it should clearly state what you are getting in each pill you consume and preferably how much of the extract is contained within.

The official product website also makes it known that women can use Andro400 as well since testosterone plays important roles in females and they stand to see benefit  from consumption.

Last, but certainly not least, is its overall reputation from past users. If there are people up in arms over it, then you probably don’t have a good product. Always read consumer feedback before buying a product.

What Exactly Is Andro400?

Andro400 is a natural testosterone boosting supplement that has been around on the market for at least a couple of years based on what I could find on the internet. It is marketed at improving symptoms of low testosterone such as low sex drive, poor energy levels, erectile dysfunction and excessive body fat retention.

Though it does not specifically claim to improve the rate of muscle protein synthesis, you are likely to notice small improvements in your ability to build muscle and recover after workouts.

Andro400 Pros:

  • Made from all natural ingredients that do not adversely affect hormonal balance.
  • Priced reasonably low so that you can check it out for yourself.
  • Official website features customer testimonials and reviews to help build trust in the product.

Cons:

  • Not widely available; after searching the internet it only seems available for purchase on the official product website and on-and-off from eBay.
  • Contains very few ingredients necessary for a noticeable increase in testosterone levels.
  • Isn’t especially helpful for bodybuilding as it lacks key ingredients.

Andro400 Ingredients and Dosage

The worst thing you can do when thinking of taking a testosterone boosting supplement is not knowing exactly what is in the formulation. Many companies take advantage of a proprietary blend approach, which in effect masks the actual amount of the ingredients you get per serving, even if the ingredient list is revealed.

Both versions of the Andro400 line pass the test for clearly revealing the ingredients they contain, the dosages of each individual ingredient and how to take it for best results.

Standard Andro400 contains just one primary ingredient, while the MAX version consists of one primary ingredient and two supporting amino acids.

Eurycoma Longifolia (E. Longifolia)

Eurycoma Longifolia, better known as Tongkat Ali or “longjack”, is a plant native to areas of Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, being used frequently in their culture to address symptoms of low sex drive. It offers modest testosterone boosting effects, though by itself it is not very significant, nor beneficial to men of all ages.

Much of Eurycoma longifolia’s properties are due to the presence of steroidal saponin- like compounds, as well as eurycomanone and other erection promoting compounds like the Canthin-6-one and squalene metabolites [1].

Studies have found that men who consume 300mg of Eurycoma Longifolia over a period of 6 months experienced significant improvements in semen volume and sperm motility (18% and 44% respectively), as well as improved erectile potency[2] according to questionnaires administered to subjects.

But that’s not all Eurycoma Longifolia is good for, as it appears to be a great cortisol and stress buster, at least in men who are typically more stressed than average. Over the course of 4 weeks, there were notable improvements to parameters such as anxiety, anger, cortisol, and testosterone (-11%,-12%,-16% and +37% respectively) [3] when compared to a control group not administered the herb.

Eurycoma Longifolia also appears to be effective in managing late-onset low testosterone, which is typically what older men experience and is responsible for lethargy and loss of interest in sex. 200mg of an extract administered over the course of a month was positively associated with big improvements in testosterone levels of on average 45%, with over 90% of subjects able to regain testosterone values within the normal range [4].

L-Arginine

This is a semi-essential amino acid, frequently used by athletes and people in general in an attempt to improve blood flow. Given, only the MAX version of Andro400 has L-arginine, but at 250mg per dose, it is unlikely to yield much of an effect in terms of enhancing blood flow.

L-Citrulline

L-citrulline is another amino acid that improves blood flow and circulation and is more reliable that arginine in promoting erection quality and potency [5]. Citrulline needs to be first converted into arginine for its effects to manifest, but since more is able to enter circulation unchanged, it equates to a greater amount of arginine able to elicit an effect.

The only problem, once again, is the low dosage contained in each dose of Andro400 MAX.

Ingredient Verdict:

When it comes to the overall ingredient profile of both standard Andro400 and the Andro400 MAX varieties, the presence of one primary ingredient (in both) and the addition of 2 amino acids to the MAX version does little to boost its reputation as a very effective testosterone booster.

Though Eurycoma Longifolia shows promise in reducing cortisol and boosting testosterone, it has yet to prove itself in healthy young men. Most effective testosterone boosters contain multiple ingredients that work from more than one angle, helping to deliver significant benefit. The absence of D-Aspartic Acid deals another blow to this supplement.

Results from Users

It is important to me that a product has user reviews from use to verify its legitimacy, which is something I found about Andro400. It is important to note however that the reviews found were almost exclusively from older men.

Andro400 Side Effects

After scouring the internet for reports of side-effects, it can generally be concluded that Andro400 is safe, thanks to the inclusion of one primary ingredient in both formulations, and two amino acids in the MAX variety all of which are natural products.

The only mentioned side-effects found were generally mild and resolved themselves quickly. Those included facial flushing, mild stomach upset and transient dizziness.

Summary – Does Andro400 Really Work?

While there are favorable reviews from satisfied consumers on the web, when its ingredients are put to the scientific test, it is likely that Andro400 products will only work for men that have low testosterone levels, to begin with, or are under a greater deal of stress than normal. The studies conducted on Eurycoma Longifolia to date have not included healthy young men, but rather a specific subset of men. If you fall into one of the groups of men that the studies were carried out on, it may be worth a shot to try Andro400. Otherwise, you are unlikely to see any benefit.

Where to Buy Andro400

A search on the internet initially found it for sale on the official product website, but after deeper sleuthing, it was also revealed that it can be purchased on eBay. It is reasonably priced at both locations, with discounts if you purchase multiple bottles at once.
