TestoTEK Review – Does TestoTEK Test Booster Really Work?

A bottle of TestoTEk just came across my desk. The first thing I always do when this happens is to take a good, hard look at the ingredients formula before trying out the product.

What I found was actually quite promising…

Testotek is made up of all natural ingredients – the dosages are safe and in high enough quantities to be effective in boosting testosterone production. The only downside is that it does not contain Magnesium which has been scientifically proven to help in the biosynthesis of testosterone by multiple studies. Overall it is a pretty standard test booster.

How to Combat Low Testosterone Naturally?

Decreased levels of testosterone is a natural result of many mitigating factors. For instance, some testosterone loss is the result of a poor diet. A lifetime of poor dieting causes plaque build-ups within the walls of the arteries, which leads to conditions such as cardiovascular disease and low testosterone.

Other factors that deplete your testosterone levels could include the use of medications, heightened stress, and bouts of insomnia. Whatever is causing this imbalance, low testosterone doesn’t happen overnight.

Seeing as decreased testosterone levels are such a commonplace in today’s day and age, there are many over-the-counter remedies for these issues. However, using over-the-counter medications come with their own set of precautions. Using chemically engineered testosterone supplements may:

· Cause Addictive Behaviors
· Suppress or Increase Appetite
· Provoke Mood Swings
· Become Ineffective Over Time
· Trigger Side Effects
· Create Too Much Testosterone

If you are looking to boost testosterone without a laundry list of side effects, it is best to go the natural route. That is where products like TestoTEK step in.

TestoTEKs Ingredients

Below I will get into my analysis of the ingredients – basically looking at whether Testotek is safe and has ingredients that are scientifically proven to work. Then I will move on to some reviews I found online from others before getting into how I found it for myself.

So without further ado,

TestoTEK uses all-natural ingredients that have been clinically proven to improve many symptoms associated with low levels of testosterone. Here is a breakdown of the active ingredients within TestoTEK.

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic Acid is classified as an amino acid. Amino acids often called the building blocks of life because they create chains of fatty proteins. Inside these chains, amino acids have chemical reactions with other chemicals within the sequence. When this happens, it kick-starts a myriad of functions essential to testosterone production. When D-Aspartic Acid is one of the amino acids present in the chain, it helps spawn the production of sperm.

As D-Aspartic Acid gets introduced into the system, it triggers a sensor within the hypothalamus area of the brain. In turn, the hypothalamus secretes luteinizing hormone (LH) into the bloodstream.

When LH makes it way down to the testes, this hormone causes more sperm to become produced. From there, the body becomes like clockwork because sperm production spawns even more sperm production. As we ejaculate, our testes release testosterone into the system. When the brain receives that trigger, it signals for more testosterone production so that the body may replace what was just ejaculated out of the system.

Fenugreek

Little is known about this herb other than its ability to naturally boost libido and testosterone levels. This is due to phytochemicals called saponins which. These are what give fenugreek a licorice-like flavor. Twizzlers aside, these chemical compounds also have an effect on anabolic growth.

While saponins did maintain (but not boost) testosterone levels, they did show to have an even more positive effect on muscle mass and metabolism. These are two things heavily influenced by extra testosterone entering the system.

The reason for this growth is that fenugreek extract causes your body to secrete more insulin into the system. This is important in healing the pain associated with higher levels of lactic acid following intense muscle exertion.

Compounds within fenugreek bypass the rest of the system and head directly toward the liver. It is in the liver where the saponins get absorbed. In turn, the liver releases insulin to fill the tender areas around the muscle. This aids in alleviating body sores in a quicker amount of time.

Mucuna Pruriens

Both men and women produce testosterone and estrogen. It’s the delicate balance between the two that make men…men and women…women. When a man’s testosterone levels deplete, a natural side effect will be an abundant amount of estrogen production.

If estrogen levels become raised in men, then they begin to gain weight in the gut, lose their hair, and struggle with erectile dysfunction (ED).

Human studies have found that Mucuna Pruriens, or velvet beans, may not only act as an aphrodisiac for men, but also lower harmful estrogen levels, and promote sperm production.

Oyster Body Extract

Speaking of aphrodisiacs, look no further than this ingredient. Oyster body extract is a natural libido booster because it has a hefty dose of d-aspartic acid and zinc. Together, these two compounds not only boost testosterone but simultaneously decrease estrogen.

Another byproduct of oyster body extract is N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA). Many testosterone-boosting sites claim that NMDA can help boost muscle. However, studies have debunked that myth. With that being said, NMDA is a potent amino acid that helps with a variety of functions.

Pantothenic Acid

Listed on the ingredients as “Pantothenic Acid,” that is just a fancy word for Vitamin B5. This essential vitamin plays a significant role in the biosynthesis of fatty acids. It converts cholesterol into energy and uses the amino acids from fat to synthesize many functions that range from hair growth to wound healing.

What makes pantothenic acid, so pivotal in testosterone production is that this vitamin is responsible for the breaking down of cholesterol in the testes. When cholesterol reaches the nether regions, Vitamin B6 converts it into the energy that stimulates your testes. Upon stimulation, the testicles release more testosterone into the system.

Siberian Ginseng

Also known as the eleuthero root, Siberian ginseng has earned its reputation of being a bit of a wonder-root for its healing abilities. Many followers of the Ayurvedic medicinal practice use Siberian ginseng to treat diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, memory loss, and to boost the immune system.

What makes Siberian ginseng an ideal treatment for such a spectrum of conditions is that the root is a natural vasodilator. Siberian ginseng boosts nitric oxide production. This gas is essential for clearing the pathways within our arteries. As a lifetime of poor food choices creates a plaque that hardens within the veins, it makes the path for oxygenated blood cells to reach different areas of the body much more difficult. Nitric oxide guides those blood cells to the unreachable areas, including the penis. In turn, Siberian ginseng promotes stronger erections.

Stinging Nettle Root

Losing 1% of testosterone per year, we don’t have much to spare. On top of that reduction, we are only able to use just 2% of the total testosterone in our body. When our body produces testosterone, a protein called sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) binds onto all but 2% of our body’s supply. After this happens, the testosterone bogged down by SHBG becomes useless.

Compounds within stinging nettle root, called isolectins, bind onto the binders. As the isolectins enter the system, they latch onto SHBG, ripping the proteins off the hormones that they are rendering useless. This turns the hindered testosterone into the free testosterone that our body needs to create thicker hair follicles, strong erections, and potent sperm.

Another benefit of stinging nettle root is its ability to ward off the growth of dihydrotestosterone. When we introduce more testosterone into our system, as products such as TestoTEK do, 10% of the free testosterone gets converted into dihydrotestosterone.

While this hormone is okay to have, too much runs the risk of becoming damaging. Studies have found that compounds within nettle root stops the growth of reductase. This is the enzyme that serves as a precursor to dihydrotestosterone production.

Vitamin B2

Also known as Riboflavin, Vitamin B2 is a natural energy booster. We all need energy when we are making gains in the weight room. It is what pushes us through the workouts that make us want to give up.

On top of that, Vitamin B2 is high in antioxidants. Studies have found that Riboflavin is aggressive in fighting off free radicals, which are precursors to many diseases. In turn, Vitamin B2 aids in producing red blood cells. These are the oxygenated blood cells that are essential for achieving an erection.

Vitamin B6

A big part of the reason men suffer from low testosterone levels is the fact that another hormone called cortisol has taken over the system. Just like testosterone and estrogen keep one another in balance, cortisol takes a seat in this yin-yang effect.

When testosterone levels are low, the body will produce another hormone in its place. In turn, ED sprouts up, weight gain happens, and overall mood plummets. This is because your body is under chronic stress. It’s running low on T, and its natural reaction is to release cortisol, the stress hormone.

The more stress hormone produced, the more stress you feel. As a reaction, even more, the body produces more cortisol. Too much cortisol inside the body becomes crippling to the libido. Your mind will remember every sexual flop you’ve had when you go into the bedroom, causing a repeat result.

Vitamin B6 helps erase these negative instincts. Studies confirm that Riboflavin helps facilitate serotonin production. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter. When released from the brain into the central nervous system, the body interprets feelings of happiness and decreased tension. As the body interprets this feeling, it produces less cortisol, making room for more testosterone.

Vitamin D3

Being locked away in an office all day, it is easy to have low levels of Vitamin D. Without the help of the sun; our body cannot naturally produce Vitamin D. That is why taking a supplement such as TestoTEK is important for hormone production.

Within the synthesizing glands of testosterone proteins, lie Vitamin D receptors. That means testosterone was tailor-made to accept Vitamin D3. When the two react, they destroy the enzyme known as aromatase. Aromatase is the precursor to estrogen production, which the nemesis of anyone with depleted testosterone levels.

Vitamin K

Speaking of Vitamin D, Vitamin K also works in tandem with this essential vitamin. When it reacts with Vitamin D, Vitamin K speeds up a process called bone metabolism. Whenever you are working out, your bones and muscles tear a tiny amount. During the recovery process, the scraps on the bone and muscle get peeled off and replaced with a stronger layer.

As your body becomes accustomed to more testosterone, Vitamin K is helpful in shedding excess weight caused by increased estrogen levels, while helping turn it into toned muscle you’d be proud to show off at the beach.

Zinc

Last but not least, zinc is one of the most potent antioxidants on the planet. When the immune system becomes compromised by high cortisol levels and increased numbers of estrogen, it can do a number on the whole body.

Studies have shown that not only can zinc boost the immune system, but testosterone levels as well. As the body becomes stronger by supplementing with zinc, it’s next natural step is to do what the body is intended to do, and that is make more testosterone.

Ingredients Overview

This is a very comprehensive ingredients formula that contains a lot of different components that work well together. However, I would have liked to see Magnesium in there to round it off. Regardless, this is a solid product that is up there in quality.

Side Effects of TestoTEK

TestoTEK is comprised of all-natural ingredients. Therefore, the side effects are not as plentiful or as alarming as many over-the-counter medications. However, with any supplement, there are risks. You are introducing substances to your system that are not already there in abundance.

Of the ingredients in this list, only one has an alarming daily percentage that may cause adverse side effects. There is a high zinc count in the daily recommended dosage of this supplement. Rule of thumb, the Tolerable Upper Limit (TUL) of zinc is 40 mg per day. This supplement has 75 mg. This means each time you take the supplement; you are maxing out on your zinc intake.

While this won’t prove deadly, too much zinc in the system may result in:

· Diarrhea
· Kidney Pain
· Leaky Gut
· Nausea
· Vomiting

TestoTEK Before and After Results

While many say TestoTEK does help, a lot of users feel this supplement is too close to other testosterone-boosting supplements in the market, namely TestoFuel. That being said, this did the trick like many others, which does not make it stand out, nor make it undesirable.

All results seem to be very run-of-the-mill, which means you know what you are getting when you buy the product. You will get the results you wished for promptly, but don’t expect to be blown away. No matter what you will still have to put some work in yourself, so using this supplement is what you make of it.

Testotek Dosage Levels:

The dosage levels of all the ingredients look safe and effective to me. The recommended dosage is four pills a day, meaning one bottle lasts for 30 days. This is pretty standard for testosterone boosters.

Final Verdict

It is undeniable that you will see results. I am just not sure that you will be overly impressed by them. TestoTEK is effective…but very generic. Nothing about it stands out from another product on the shelf. While all the ingredients have been clinically proven to be effective in helping men boost testosterone, I would be inclined to pick up the cheaper alternative on the shelf next to it.
